If you’re still searching for your dream French wedding venue then take a look at the 18th century Château d’Estoublon. A luxury Chateau located in the heart of Provence, leaning against the southern slopes of the Alpilles. It’s a perfect venue if you want to experience the warmth of the Provencal way of life.
I visited the chateau shortly after it had been restored to it’s former glory by Architect des Batimets de France. As you enter the grounds, you are greeted by a grand driveway lined with cypress trees, leading up to the impressive façade of the château. The exterior features beautiful stone walls, intricate ironwork, climbing roses and cascading ivy.
I was equally impressed by the luxurious decor of the chateau interior! Château d’Estoublon is decorated with ornate chandeliers and antique furniture, whilst maintaining a warm homely feel. There’s a variety of spaces for your wedding, including a grand ballroom, a Romanesque-style chapel and outdoor terraces overlooking the gardens.
As a photographer, I adore this venue as there’s so many stunning locations for photos! The lush gardens offer spaces for shade, the flowers add a pop of colour and the architectural details are divine.
Château d’Estoublon is the perfect venue if you’re planning a chic yet intimate wedding. The chateau has 10 bedrooms and suites to accommodate you and your wedding guests. You will also have access to a home theatre, gym, bar, pool, private wine cellar and so much more. Couples can exchange vows in the garden gazebo, host a cocktail hour on the terrace, and dance the night away in the Provencal summer light.
The castle is conveniently located near local attractions, and vineyards providing plenty of opportunities for guests to explore the region. The charming village of Les-Baux-de-Provence is close by, where you and your guests can visit the stunning light show les Carrières des Lumières.
This venue is situated just 5 minutes from the medieval town of Les-Baux-de-Provence and 3 hours by train from Paris, 25mins from Avignon or if you’re feeling lavish you can arrive by helicopter from Monaco in 50 minutes!
A wedding at Chateau d’Estoublon is truly a once in a lifetime experience! What could be more beautiful than saying ‘I do’ amongst 200 hectares of olive groves and vineyards in the famous South of France.
