An Elegant Provence Château Wedding at Hermitage de Combas

Lindsy & Hieronim's international wedding welcomed family & friends from the US and across Europe to Château Hermitage de Combas, a historic South of France château. It was one of the first weddings where I fully embraced film photography, something I had long kept for my personal work and I couldn’t have asked for a more fitting day. Some of my favourite getting‑ready photos ever came from this morning: moments you simply can’t plan, born from pure emotion, laughter, and intimacy.

Their beloved dog was one of the main guests of the day! As a huge dog lover myself, I always enjoy when animals are involved in weddings. They bring so much joy and even help couples relax during portraits if they feel a little nervous in front of the camera.

If you can believe it, right after the ceremony, the heavens opened with a sudden Provençal downpour. But a little rain never stops us from capturing the most beautiful, cinematic moments — we always find the perfect light, no matter the weather.
