I had the pleasure of capturing Chris and Maddie’s dream wedding last summer at Chateau Naudou. It was an international affair with guests coming all the way from Australia, US, Spain and the UK.

Between Bordeaux and Toulouse, you’ll find the charming Chateau Naudou. The architecture and design feels like a combination of a French and Italian chateau. Located on a verdant valley with stunning French countryside views, a courtyard lined with cypress trees and an impressive pool your spoilt for photo locations. Plus, the Chateau has an in-house wedding planner with over 11 years experience. With more than 200 weddings under their belt, the in-house chef and wedding planner know how to make your weekend run perfectly! I personally worked with Jo the wedding planner on lots of weddings and she’s not only great fun but also incredibly professional. The chateau can sleep up to 26 people. There is also a cottage that has 2 bedrooms and the Pigeonnier has 4 bedrooms.

The Dress

Maddie choose an elegant lace off the shoulder wedding dress by the famous Pronovias Bridal designer. It was the perfect fit for their elegant and romantic Chateau Naudou wedding!

Chateau Naudou Ceremony

Due to the strong summer sun, the couple’s ceremony took place under the huge old pine trees with the chateau in the background. It was a short but sweet ceremony with plenty of laughter and participation from the guests! After the ceremony, we lined up for some confetti and family photos with the French pastel blue shutters in the backdrop. I always recommend to do the confetti shot after you both walk down the aisle.

An extra bonus is that the chateau is situated nearby the village of Auvillar, which is officially classified as one of the ‘most beautiful villages of France’.
