We’ve been lucky enough to live in the Luberon for 4 years now and as massive foodies, we now know the best spots to eat. So, I thought why not share my favourite restaurants in the Luberon with you!

1. Domaine du Castellas – Sivergues

This is our go to restaurant for when we have friends visiting and we want to do something special. It really is such an incredible experience especially with a big group of your loved ones. The hundred hectares Domaine is nestled in the valleys of the Grand Luberon, overlooking an exceptional panorama from East to West, from the Alps to Ardèche. It’s a farm to table plate sharing concept and the food is absolutely delicious. Make sure to book a table as it’s very popular!

2. Café Les Valseuses – Apt

Every Saturday, my husband, son and I visit the weekly Apt Saturday market and end up in our favourite restaurant Café Les Valseuses for a delicious lunch. It’s a family tradition that we look forward to each week! If you’re looking for a restaurant in the Luberon that offers vegetarian food then this is a great option. I love French food but it’s hard to find much variation in the countryside, so the Asian fusion menu at Café Les Valseuses is a refreshing change.

3. Le Saint Hubert – Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt

Organic and local cuisine served in a beautifully designed room or on the intimate terrace with an incredible view of the Luberon. Perfect for a romantic meal. They also have a great area for a simple glass of wine and snack if you just want to pop in after a summers stroll. Every Tuesday morning there’s a market in the village of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt. So why not take a wander through the market and then soak up the morning sunshine having breakfast at Le Saint Hubert.

4. MatCha – Cucuron

Magnificent seasonal dishes with beautiful attention of detail by the chefs. A contemporary touch of French gastronomy. The atmosphere at this little restaurant in Cucuron is fabulous and it’s good value for money.

5. La Fontaine

In the quaint village of Villars is this charming Provençal bistro. The menu is designed by Jean & Roxane Bergougnoux with all local products and organic & biodynamic wines.
