The exclusive Château de la Messardière overlooks the bay of Pampelonne with views of the rolling hills of Provence. It’s truly a photographer’s dream location! Therefore, I was very excited when Anna and Nazar contacted me to capture their maternity photos.

For a photo shoot at Château de la Messardiere, you have endless possibilities for stunning backdrops. Pose against the backdrop of the sparkling pool, surrounded by lush greenery. Or, capture the beauty of the chateau’s grand facades, with their ornate windows and sweeping staircases.

If you’re looking for a more natural setting, take a stroll through the chateau’s extensive gardens. You’ll find meandering pathways, fragrant flower beds, and secluded nooks that are perfect for intimate portraits. I always like to time my portrait shoots for early morning or late afternoon for that perfect softer light.

If you’re thinking about having a maternity photo shoot then firstly a huge congratulations! Parenthood is seriously the most incredible gift I’ve ever experienced. The best time for maternity photos is usually in the third trimester, around your 7th or 8th month of pregnancy (26 and 34 weeks). Then you’ll have a perfect size bump and still enough energy to move around!
